hotels; he also enjoys natural beauty and
the satisfaction of receiving our
culture. Any ecotouristic development
should value the maintenance of these
attractions; this turns the gains of this segment
into recurring events.
Development depends much more of
the quality of the ecotourist experience
than of the communication with tourists.. Each
tourist well received recommends the area
for friends and these, for their time, indicate
it for others. This thus creates an
efficient sale mechanism. If there is not
satisfaction, the tourist stops the positive flow
indications and the tourist company will need an
expensive sale effort for the improvement of
attendance.
We should use the information that
we supply to tourists that visit us to increase
their knowledge about the visited area and
increase their arguments that will be used in
positive recommendations. In this case, we can
use written descriptions of nature and culture in
addition to training guides, receptionists
and salespersons.
